Deonne Sousa is a Massachusetts-born and raised animator. He has his BFA in Animation and Interactive media from Montserrat College of Art. Deonne Sousa takes pride in his work as an African American artist who hopes to break out strong into the animation field. He was in two exhibitions in Canton, MA where he got to show his artistic prowess. He created an animation to help kids with learning disabilities to be advocates for themselves and be able to get the help they need. His desire is to become a storyboard artist with the aspiration to even one day direct his own animated film. At the end of the day, Deonne wants to spark joy in others through his work. He’s always ready to spread happy vibes and puts that into every piece he creates.
